1. Scope and Acceptance
Agreement: By registering for membership, signing up for events, or interacting with the theFEMfounders website and global community app, you enter into a binding legal agreement with us. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform or services.
Global Access: Our community connects women founders, business owners, and entrepreneurial leaders around the world. By using the app, you agree to comply with all local laws applicable to your jurisdiction.
2. Community Membership & Conduct
Discretionary Approval: Membership and event registrations are subject to application and approval. We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or revoke access at our discretion, including for conduct that violates our community guidelines.
Code of Conduct: We foster a safe, collaborative space for authentic conversations and networking. Bullying, harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or predatory business practices will result in immediate removal without refund (where applicable)
Respect for the community: Member information, conversations and contact details shared within theFEMfounders are for networking purposes only. Members may not solicit other members, promote competing or paid communities, memberships or services, or use member details for mass outreach. Partnerships and collaborations are welcome and can be proposed to us directly. What members share in private spaces must be kept confidential.
3. Events and Programming (Internal & External)
Internal Platform Management: Most community gatherings, masterclasses, roundtables, and networking sessions are organized and managed directly through our internal platform and app.
External Events, Curation, and Coordination Fees: Certain events featured or coordinated within our community may be hosted by external third-party organizations and offered to the public for free. While the underlying event access is free, our community provides optional curation, administrative coordination, and concierge registration services for our members. By utilizing our services to secure your spot for an external event, you acknowledge and agree that a non-refundable coordination, booking, or concierge fee may be charged by us for the time, labor, and operational effort required to manage your registration. This fee covers our administrative services only and does not represent the cost of the event ticket itself. You authorize our team to use your provided details to complete the registration process on your behalf with the external event host and by registering for our events, you also consent to receive updates about future events and relevant news from us.
Media & Photography: By attending our physical and virtual gatherings, you acknowledge that photos or recordings may be captured for community highlights and promotional use. If you prefer not to be featured, please notify an organizer or inform us prior to the event.
Third-Party Partners: Any partner perks, discounts, or collaborative offers featured through our network are provided by third parties. theFEMfounders assumes no direct liability for the performance, delivery, or fulfillment of third-party commercial offers or external event operations.
4. Intellectual Property and User Content
Member Submissions: Stories, spotlights, interviews, and other content submitted by you remain your intellectual property.
License to Publish: By sharing content within the community or submitting it for features, you grant theFEMfounders a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, publish, and share it across our website, app, and official communication channels.
5. Limitation of Liability
Platform "As Is": theFEMfounders provides the website, app, and community platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Limitation of Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, theFEMfounders is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the platform, app, attendance at internal events, or participation in coordinated external events.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. We will notify active members of major updates via email or platform announcements. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Jurisdiction: Unless otherwise required by mandatory local laws in your country of residence, these Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Luxembourg, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Luxembourg.
